Check the WANT ADS in newspaper and home pages of career and human services for additional information. Do volunteer work or paid internships to determine whether you like the environment and job of your choice. Plan ahead for letters of recommendation.
Take 199's at school so professors can get to know you personally and can write more effective letters of recommendation. Do internships outside of school in area of interest. Your college education may not be sufficient for the job you plan to obtain.
